Forcing cone cutters are used for cutting the forcing cone in revolvers, or more commonly for re-cutting the forcing cone where it is worn or eroded to give a revolver a new lease of life.
Our forcing cone cutters have ten cutting flutes, in contrast to other manufacturers which might have four or six flutes. The advantage of having a lot of cutting flutes is that it tends not to ride up when cutting the lands and so leaves a much more uniform forcing cone.
Forcing cone cutters are currently made to order. The forcing cone angle is typically 5 degrees per side, but you can specify what angle you want.
